Ted Kosoy

Biography

My career as a travel writer began in 1968 and I have been fully committed to the profession since then. I am also a travel photographer, lecturer and radio broadcaster. I have my own weekly radio show in Toronto called “The World of Travel with Ted Kosoy.” I still do periodic guest spots on travel in Toronto stations. One of my main travel lecture series was entitled “The Adventures of a Canadian Indiana Jones.” My published travel guides include: A Guide for Canadian Travelers, Abroad: Europe (11 editions), A Kosoy Guide to the Orient and South Pacific (3 editions), A Kosoy Guide to Latin America, A Kosoy Guide to Florida and the sun/heart (3 editions), and a Kosoy Travel Guide to Canada (9 editions).
