Biography
After completing an around-the-world journey with their young daughter, Marla has recorded travel narratives and Robin has captured photographic images that embody the beautiful people they met and the cultures in which they were immersed to tell tales about the locations which they have visited. Featured destinations include New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Viet Nam, Hong Kong, Beijing, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium and the UK.
Marla has nearly 25 years of writing resourceful business communications pieces, producing articles for public relations firms, and creating CD/DVD/video scripts, web site copy, newsletters, annual reports and direct mail. Marla combined her passion for her family, writing and travel and began crafting non-fiction short stories, travel features and children's books.
For Robin, after 30-years as a photographer, he is still excited looking through the lens as he was when he first picked up a camera. Robin’s images have been published in magazine such as Time, Newsweek, Better Homes & Gardens, Flower & Garden, and Chicagoland Gardening.
