Biography

As an award-winning free-lance writer, I’ve traveled the world and shared these experiences in publications from England to the Philippines, as well in the major newspapers across the country. I have schmoozed nose-to-nose with blue-footed boobies in the Galapagos, slept in a Berber tent on the edge of Morocco’s Sahara, walked the walls of Jerusalem, rode a horse to Petra and quested the five sacred mountains of Tibet. I’ve written about the waiver theaters and the secret gardens of Los Angeles and published restaurant reviews around the world. My photographs have appeared with my articles, submitted in 35mm transparency and digital format.

My free-lance writing has included travel, sports writing, restaurant reviews, personality profile interviews, art conservation studies, bird features and a children’s book. I was also commissioned to write a three-part series of an architectural walking/riding tour of historical Long Beach. My study on drug rehabilitation in the workplace appeared in several in-flight magazines.
