Biography
Janet Wilson is a freelance writer and photographer specializing in general and RV travel, with destinations and journeys set in Europe and North America, especially California and the West. She prefers to travel like a local and closer to the ground. With her husband, Stu Wilson, also a NATJA member, she writes a regular column called the Road Less Traveled in each issue of RV Journal magazine that includes their photographs. She attended the Society of American Travel Writers’ “Travel Writing & Guidebook Institute" in Orlando, Florida, and regularly attends other courses to further develop her writing and photography skills.
Key to her travel writing and photography success is making editors’ lives easier by providing
what an editor needs, when it is needed. Janet consistently deliver accurate, on-time, publishable articles and photos, researched and tailored for each specific publication. A passion for travel infuses her work and comes through to readers. Many repeat sales attest to editors’ satisfaction.
