Biography
Having been awarded a grant from the Horace W. Goldsmith Foundation in 1990 for her work in reef conservation, Ms. Mattia turned her attention to writing about and photographing the reefs for commerical publications. Since that time, she has been incorporating her knowledge about the reefs and marine life into her travel articles.
Ms. Mattia holds two degrees in Theatre and Art.
